Project for Monitoring Nestle’s Sales Agents Launched in St. Petersburg

The Energo trading house is implementing monitoring of sales representatives of Nestle’s exclusive team.

The Energo trading house, a supplier of food products and a distributor of Nestle in St. Petersburg, has been operating the Optimum SFA system since 2005. The company employs several teams of sales representatives including a team headed by Nestle supervisors that uses a separate database synchronized the database in Nestle’s Moscow office (Nestle Russia).

In May 2011, a project for monitoring of Nestle’s team sales representatives started that involved connection to the Optimum database of the GIS Monitoring module. The location of agents is determined by built-in GPS receivers of HTC Touch 3G communicators that operate on the basis of Windows Mobile 6.1. Supervisors can access geolocation data, including deviations from routes and the location of Nestle’s team sales representatives, in real time. All information is displayed on electronic maps owing to which supervision of sales agent operations may be enhanced.

The specialists of the CDC Group connected the GIS monitoring module in a remote way without visiting the distributor’s site. According to the plan, almost 60 mobile agents will be covered by the monitoring system.
