The Miratorg Agroindustrial Holding Completed Large-Scale Upgrade of Optimum SFA Solutions.
As part of the development of the project launched in 2007, Optimum ASUMT, a system for automation of sales representatives, was upgraded and heads of sales representative teams obtained the new mobile application Optimum Supervisor. Also the outdated Windows Mobile communicators were replaced with modern Samsung tablets.
As part of automation, all of the holding’s sales representatives and merchandisers were equipped with Android tablets that they use for pre-selling and collecting data on display of products on shelves and other information required for sales and marketing. The supervisors can now track their personnel in the territory and, if required, to perform their jobs. The data collected in ‘the fields’ throughout the country are rapidly sent to Moscow, to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP system. The Optimum project covers over 900 mobile agents.
According to CIO Aleksandr Mal’kovsky, implementation of Optimum IT solutions enabled the company to extend the time for processing orders, implement effective instruments for monitoring availability of goods and POS materials, and automate supervision of the activities of sales teams on routes and sales outlets.
The Miratorg holding is the largest operator on Russia’s meat market; it performs the full production cycle from the field to the shop and sells its products all over Russia via major retail chains and own supermarkets.
