The CDC group was a partner and participants of the 'Motorola Solutions for In-Field Operations' forum held on November 22, 2011 by Motorola Solutions at the Radisson Blu hotel in Moscow. At this event the Motorola ET1 tablet PC on the Android platform was represented for the first time in Russia. The tablet that features enhanced durability has the OPTIMUM SFA system installed.
The forum was attended by representatives of more than 56 companies. They got acquainted with the devices for collection and processing of data, small-size printers, applications, and services developed by Motorola partners for automation of mobile personnel operations in the FMCG segment.
Aleksey Raver, CEO deputy on sales of CDC, delivered a report on the 'Usage of Motorola protected solutions combined with the products on the OPTIMUM platform.' He presented the mobile solutions developed by CDC than enable efficient automation of mobile personnel activities in the businesses operating in the FMCG segment. The hardware/software facility on the basis of the OPTIMUM platform comprises several modules intended for pre-selling, merchandising, satellite monitoring of sales representatives, merchandisers, and vehicles, and for collecting updated analytical information to be used for making managerial decisions. Aleksey Rave also represented new CDC Group developments on the basis of SUP (Sybase Unwired Platform) implemented using Motorola mobile terminals.
During the breaks between sessions the participants of the forum visited the CDC exhibition where they could obtain detailed information about mobile solutions and watch demo sessions of the OPTIMUM system operations on the Motorola MC65 device collection devices (Windows Mobile OS) and the Motorola ET1 tablet PC (Android OS).
